Andover Glen Homeowner’s Association Meeting Minutes
May 18, 2005

1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at Shalom Park at 7:00 p.m. by
President Barbara Harrington.
Board Members Present: Jan Guerra, Barbara Harrington, Bob Meyer, Cindy Wagner,
Norm Arlt, Ron Adams, Randy Simpson, Dave Kline, Curt Krall.
2. Old Business:
* Barbara Harrington announced that all the paperwork had been completed and
Sundown Homeowner’s Association and Andover Glen Homeowner’s Association are
now the same for all legal intents and purposes.
* The AG Insurance Company was now investigating whether or not they will be
paying for legal bills associated with an incident involving one of the AG Board
members.
* There was a discussion related to the minutes from the April meeting of the AG
Association. Bob Meyer made a motion, with a 2nd by Norm Arlt to have the AG
Attorney review the minutes. The motion passed on a vote of 5 to 4.
* A motion was made by Randy, with a 2nd by Jan, that IF the minutes of April
2005 are amended and reviewed by the AG Attorney, that a statement is to be
added at the end of the minutes to reflect this fact. The motion passed
unanimously.
3. New Business
* Bob Meyer made motion, 2nd by Cindy Wagner to have a small number of flowers
and potting soil available for distribution to AG members on the morning of May
28th, from 9 to 11 a.m. The motion passed unanimously.
4. Board Reports:
President - Barbara Harrington:
* Barbara reminded the Group of the Neighborhood Garage Sale on June 17-18th and
asked for a mention in the next AG Gazette.
* A motion was made by Jan Guerra and seconded by Norm Art to have a 40 Cubic
Yard Dumpster delivered for Association Member use the weekend of June 4-5. The
motion passed unanimously.
Safety – Bob Meyer
* Bob reported that an attempt would be made to clean the current
“Neighborhood Watch” sign at the entryway off Parker Road.

Vice President – Dave Kline
Nothing to report.
Treasurer – Jan Guerra
* Balance sheet and income statements as of May 2005 were passed out.
* Motion made by Jan, and seconded by Cindy to keep the Association dues at the
current $321 a month for the 2005-2006 fiscal year. Passed Unanimously.
Welcoming – Cindy Wagner
* Cindy reported on a possible re-roofing contractor for the Gazebo and Tennis
shack. The amount would be $350, with a 3 month ad for the contractor in the
Gazette. Barbara made a motion, seconded by Bob to accept this bid from Mountain
View Roofing. The motion passed unanimously.
* Cindy reported on a quote from Red Mountain Design to plant 30 flats of
flowers at the Parker Road Entryway. A motion was made by Jan, seconded by Randy
to allocate $963.42 for this project. The motion passed unanimously.
* Cindy Reported one new family in Andover Glen. The Steve and Jennifer Vaughn
family. She also reported there were 3 homes for sale in AG.
Social – Curt Krall
* Confirmed the Garage sale weekend for June 17-18 and the dumpster Weekend for
June 4-5.
Grounds - Norm Arlt
* Norm has been mulching the beds around the tennis court and fixing cracks.
* Norm repaired tennis court nets.
* Norm fertilized entrance roses and all shrubs.
* Norm and Quink planted three yews at entrance.
* Emerald Isle contract billing was $1340.29
* Emerald Isle to repair seven vandalized pickets along Parker Road.
* Edgewater turned on system and corrected problems at a cost of $603.63.
* Remaining three heads along brick fence south of entrance to be moved.
* Roses, trees, and grasses to be planted by Arapahoe Acres on 5/21
* Thanks to Ron Adams for donating a Hawthorne tree, planted by tennis courts.
Secretary – Randy Simpson
* Randy requested that any items for the Gazette be sent to him as soon as
possible.
Preservation – Ron Adams
* Ron submitted several requests for Property Improvements. The Wagners – new
roof, the Arlts – landscaping.
The Meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m. Next meeting will be at Shalom Park on
Wednesday, June 22nd at 7 p.m.
