Andover Glen Homeowner’s Association Meeting Minutes
November 17, 2004

1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at the Guerra household at 7:04 p.m. by President Barbara Harrington.

Board Members Present: Jan Guerra, Randy Simpson, Barbara Harrington, Curt Krall, Bob Meyer, Cindy Wagner, Norm Arlt

Board Members Absent: Ron Adams, Dave Kline

2. General Business:

New Section for Newsletter: It was proposed that a new section be added to the newsletter called to recognize neighbors who have made improvements to their property recently. No motion was made on this issue but it was generally agreed by the everyone to be a good idea.

3. Board Reports:

President - Barbara Harrington:

* Passed around a Thank You note from the Gathering Place for the extra food from the Neighborhood Picnic that was donated by AG to the organization.
* Received a phone call from the AG Attorney regarding an inquiry made by Mitch Powell related to the Association’s ability to deal with homes that don’t meet Covenant standards. Attorney said she would get back to us.
* Presented Secretary Randy Simpson with an approved Property Improvement Request from the Henkel’s for a new Tri-laminate roof.

Vice President – Dave Kline (absent)

Treasurer – Jan Guerra
* Balance sheet and income statements as of November 30, 2004 were presented to the group.

Welcoming – Cindy Wagner
Reported that there were still only 2 homes for sale in the neighborhood.

Social – Curt Krall
Reported that the Christmas Party will be held on December 11th , 7 p.m. at the Meltons with a Kids party to be held at the Wagner’s at the same time.

Safety – Bob Meyer
* Reported that he had 20 signees for the Neighborhood Watch program.
* Reported that he was working on prized for the Great Andover Glen “Spiff” program
* Presented quotes and information from vendors related to the possible power washing and staining of the AG Fence
* Randy Simpson made a motion that a “blurb” be put into the next few issues of the AG Gazette that the AG Board was “exploring the possibility of power washing and staining of the AG Fence and was looking for comments from Association Members,” with the idea that the board would review these comments in April. The motion was seconded by Kurt Krall and Cindy Wagner and passed unanimously.

Grounds - Norm Arlt

* Reported the AG water bill was $1,235 for September and $1,030 for October with 304,000 and 255,000 gallons used respectively for each month.
* Replaced 9 bulbs and washed lights at the entrance.
* Trimmed down entrance trees
* Reported Pine Needles at entrance to be cleaned up by Emerald Isle.
* Norm is building a double-sided whiteboard for Dillon Entrance.
* Norm is building mulch beds by tennis courts, north fence.
* Norm will rent chipper/mulcher to take care of brush from trimming dead trees.
Road

Secretary – Randy Simpson

· Asked for any articles for the newsletter
· Made a motion that the Association purchase 3 signs for the Neighborhood from the “Keep Kids Alive Drive 25” Organization at cost of approximately $50. The motion was seconded by Bob Meyer and passed unanimously.
· Randy said he would order them right away.

The Meeting was adjourned at 8:28 p.m. Next meeting will be at Norm Arlt’s on Wednesday, January 19th at 7 p.m.
