Andover Glen Homeowner’s Association Meeting Minutes
Annual Meeting
March 17, 2004

1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at the home of Jan Guerra at 7:05 p.m. by President Terry Allen.

Board Members Present: Norm Arlt, Jan Guerra, Ron Adams, Randy Simpson, Barbara Harrington, Terry Allen, Dave Kline, Curt Krall

2. General Business:

Discussion of selecting a contractor for the rebuild of entryway monument: A general discussion was held related to the selection of a contractor for the rebuild of the entryway monument. Barbara Harrington had solicited for and received several bids from several different companies. The costs ranged from just around $7,500 to over $12,000, depending on the design and materials used. It was decided to follow up with the lowest bidder (Bighorn) and see what the costs would be for some modifications to their design. Barbara will follow up with their new quote at the April 2004 Meeting.

2. Board Reports:

President- Terry Allen:
Terry announced that his house had sold and he would moving out of Andover Glen in May. He announced his resignation as President of the Association.

Vice President – (vacant)

Welcoming -Barbara Harrington
· 1 home for sale in area
· Chick-Filet was now open at Pioneer Hills.
· She had received several bids on the new entryway monument (see discussion above)

Treasurer – Jan Guerra
Presented the current income statement and balance sheet for the Association.

Safety – Dave Kline

* Present a draft of a check off sheet he was developing to identify maintenance and other items that may need to be called to the attention of individual homeowners.

Grounds - Norm Arlt:
· AG received the full amount of $4, 431 for the mini-grant project from the City of Aurora.
· Received a truck load of mulch from the City of Aurora
· Workday for Mini-grant changed to May 8, 2004

Secretary – Randy Simpson
· Asked for any articles for the newsletter

Social – Curt Krall
· Announced a possible Easter Egg Hunt for April 10th. Board voted to support the event. Curt said he would try to get a sponsor.

Preservation – Ron Adams
· No requests for any property improvements were submitted during the month.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:55 p.m. with the next meeting scheduled for March 17th at 7 p.m. at Barbara Harrington’s home, 4803 S. Crystal St.
