Disscussion of Rebuilding of Entryway Monument: A general discussion was held on the rebuilding of the entryway monument destroyed by a motor vehicle collision with it in December of 2003. It was reported that the party responsible for the damage had been identified because of the actions of another motorist. The insurance company of the guilty party will be paying for the reconstruction of the monument based on it’s previous design. Any additional upgrades or changes to the monument costing more money will have to be paid for by the Association. Barbara Harrington will be investigating the procedures with the State of Colorado (because Parker Road is a state highway) and the City of Aurora on getting permits to rebuild the monument. She will follow up with this information at February’s meeting.
