Andover Glen Homeowner’s Association Meeting Minutes
August 18, 2004

1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at the home of Randy Simpson,
at 7:05 p.m. by President Barbara Harrington.
Board Members Present: Jan Guerra, Ron Adams, Randy Simpson, Barbara Harrington,
Norm Arlt
2. General Business:
Issues related to upcoming Board Election in September: There are 3 candidates
so far for the upcoming board election. Cindy Wagner and Curt Krall have been
nominated for 3 year terms and Jan Guerra will run again for a 2 year terms.
Other candidates (including write in candidates) may come forth before the
September 20 Annual Meeting and Board Election.
Discussion of possible Fastraks Ballot issue speaker at Annual Election: The
board discussed the possibility of having a speaker present to give a brief
Presentation related to the Fastraks Ballot Issue.
2. Board Reports:
President & Wecloming - Barbara Harrington:
* Reported that there are no new residents in the neighborhood, and one house
was under contract and one house is still for sale.
* Reported that the bricklayer for the new entryway monument would be tied up
with other projects until sometime in September.
Vice President – (vacant)
Treasurer – Jan Guerra
Reported that 2 leins will be placed on homes due to lack of paying their annual
dues. Those properties are 4923 S. Dillon Street and 14114 E. Layton Drive.
Safety – Dave Kline (absent)
Grounds - Norm Arlt
· AG used 337,000 gallons of water and paid $1368 for that water in July.
· Is building mulch beds by Tennis courts, north fence.
· Will rent mulcher to take care of brush from trimming dead trees.
· Reattched sprinkler head in median.
· Repaired tree light at entrance.
Secretary – Randy Simpson
· Asked for any articles for the newsletter
· After researching it, had found that turning AG into a gated community would
bring on special problems and costs. May explore closing off Chenango with the
City.
Social – Curt Krall (absent)
Preservation – Ron Adams
· Received no property improvement requests in the past month.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:49 p.m. Next meeting will be at Sagebrush
Elementary on September 20th. Annual Meeting.
