Andover Glen Homeowner’s Association Meeting Minutes
Annual Meeting
September 15, 2003

1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at Sagebrush Elementary School at 7:07 p.m. by President Terry Allen.
Board Members Present: Terry Allen, Norm Arlt, Jan Guerra, Fred Freeh, Randy Simpson, Dave Kline, Barbara Harrington.
Others Present: In addition to the 8 board members, there were approximately 12 other Association members present.
2. General Business:
Election of New Board Members: A vote was taken for the selection new board members. 2 new board members were elected by a vote (including proxies) of 19 for and 0 against. The new board members are Ron Adams and Kurt Krall. 1 additional board member, Dave Kline, was voted in to continue serving on the board by a vote (including proxies) of 19 in favor and 0 opposed.
Ron Adams will be in charge of Preservation.
Kurt Krall will be in charge of Social Activities
Dave Kline will be continue as Safety chair.
Other General Business Issues:
A question was raised as to whether the board was going to enforce the covenants related to the long term parking of boats in the neighborhood. President Terry Allen indicated that covenants would be enforced as violations are noted.
3. Board Reports:
* Approved a request for new roof at 14164 E. Layton Dr. using a new type roofing material that looks like concrete tiles but is lighter and may not require modification of roofing support structure.
* Approved a request for a brick mailbox at 4882 S. Dillon St.
* On behalf of the board and the Association, Terri thanked Fred Freeh for his very dedicated service to the board and his neighborhood.
* Reported that the roll-off dumpster was scheduled for delivery on the weekend of September 19-21.
* Reported that several dead aspen trees had been removed from homes in the area.
* No new residents in the area, 1 house for sale..
* Reported that currently 3 homes had not paid their dues as of the date of the meeting and indicated that liens may be filed against these properties.
* Presented the final budget for the period of 7/1/02 to 6/30/03. The Association added $6.107.32 to reserves.
* Reported that he was trying to reinvigorate the Neighborhood watch program. Stressed that it is a community project and we need involvement of everyone for it to work. Dave is looking for volunteer to be block captains. He needs about 6 or so for the whole community. If you are interested please contact Dave. * Reported he attended to multiple grounds related tasks.
* Looking for suggestion for use of space in AG park
* Reported how much water had been used by the Association
* Asked for any articles for the newsletter
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m. with the next meeting scheduled for October 20th, 2003 at 7 p.m. at the home of Randy Simpson, 4882 S. Dillon St.
