“Communication is the key to a strong community”
February 2006, volume 4, issue 2
Last month we let you know about the new website for our community:
If you haven’t had the opportunity to surf on over to the site yet, I would really encourage you to do so. The site was great to begin with, and is improving every day. It gives you “one- stop shopping” for everything you might want to know about Andover Glen and/or conduct business with your homeowner’s association. I urge everyone to go the site and give it a test run and let Norm Arlt or another AG Board Member know what you like or don’t like about it. Is there something missing that you’d like to see there? Is the information easy to find? Remember, this is truly meant to be your neighborhood’s website, and so we truly want your feedback about how to make is as user friendly and helpful as possible. So wax up your surfboard and surf the net on over to www.andoverglen.org and see the beginning of what we hope to build into everyone in Andover Glen’s favorite website! ~

Board to vote on new Andover Glen Policies and Procedures at the March Board meeting…
By Randy Simpson
After some final edits and modifications, the AG Board will be voting on the new Policies and Procedures at the March Board meeting. As we’ve been telling you for several months now, these new Policies and Procedures accomplish three primary goals: to adhere to new Colorado State statutes related to the operation of homeowners associations, to make the month to month operations of the association more efficient, and to create a set of rules that will allow for the fair and consistent application of our covenants. The Association’s Attorney has reviewed the Policies and Procedures and your elected Board is finally ready to adopt them. Once they are passed, every household in the Association will be mailed a full copy of them and of course they will be posted on www.andoverglen.org. Another thing to keep in mind is that these Policies and Procedures are meant to help the Association conduct its business, but they only complement the current covenants, and create no new covenants. They simply say how the current covenants will be fairly enforced. It is fully anticipated that these new Policies and Procedures will be amended over time and we encourage every AG Member to read them carefully and provide your feedback to the Board on any questions, issues, or suggestions you might have. I personally would like to thank the Board for the many extra hours of hard work they put into the creation of these new Policies and Procedures. ~
